Starting the third week of May, 720 Access will bring you four weeks of healthy living ideas, activities and challenges. Healthy for you and the environment, to build a more sustainable future.
Watch for activities, information and challenges with a different focus each week, and a prize draw at every activity.
Week One – May 21 to May 24
WHAT YOU EAT MATTERS
This week is all about eating smart so you can feel and perform your best while wasting less food and packaging. We challenge you to try some healthier food options and look for alternatives to disposable containers (especially plastic).
Week Two – May 27 to May 31
RIDE YOUR BIKE, WALK THE BLOCK
We encourage you to look for self-powered modes of transportation. This could mean riding a bike or walking to work, even getting off transport early to walk the rest. It’s great for you and directly reduces carbon in the air.
Week Three – June 3 to June 7
RIDE, CLIMB, MOVE
During this week look for opportunities to get more exercise during the day. Take the stairs, go for a walk at lunch, get up and move to renew your energy. Bonus points for activity that reduces resource consumption, like avoiding the elevators.
Week 4 – June 10 to June 14
BREATH DEEP AND STRETCH
Power down to power up by shutting down your equipment for a break that focuses on your mental wellbeing while giving electrical power a break. Spend time to clear your mind and relax.
